Angela Jackson

is your Preventative Heart Health Consultant



Natural Heart Health was founded by Angela Jackson, whose mission is to help women reduce their risk of Cardiovascular Disease. Angela cuts through the rhetoric, and loves to help break down the complex health messages of today into easy to understand action steps. She knows health information can be confusing, and that ‘knowing’ what to do isn’t the same as working out how to successfully implement that into your life.


Angela’s focus on heart health came because she felt that the health information out there was not complete, the messages were narrow and limited to ‘reduce this, and avoid that.’ With her training in both the conventional and alternative health worlds, she knows there’s more than this, and wants to help bring this information to the people who need it – health professionals, those with heart issues and those who are currently healthy and want to keep it that way.


Angela has a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Queensland, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine from the University of New England. She’s also a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and her career in preventative health spans over 10 years. She’s worked with some of Australia’s biggest companies as the Senior Health & Wellness Consultant at Wesley Health Promotion, helping to improve the health & wellbeing of employees around Australia. She’s also worked as an ECG Technician in the Cardiac wards of several of London’s top Hospitals including the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and the King’s College Hospital.


Angela has conducted many thousands of health consultations throughout her career, and has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. This experience means that Angela has seen it all when it comes to how people live their lives, and she knows what it takes to help people turn their health around.


Angela is originally from Cairns in North Queensland, and has now called Brisbane home for 12 years. She was a gymnast and dancer & coached gymnastics for 6 years, including coaching an Australian team to the World Gymnaestrada in Austria in 2007. Today her exercise involves commuting by bike, climbing the cliffs at Kangaroo Point and yoga.


She’s a passionate foodie, and enjoys spending weekends exploring Farmers Markets for local produce, experimenting with wholefood recipe creation and drinking good coffee with her fiance.
